Abdul Majid: Born in a wealthy Muslim family in Lalpur Upazila of Natore district, ASM Mokarrebur Rahman (Nasim) dreamed of doing something for the society since childhood. His father Md. Abdul Karim was a respected teacher, and his mother Md. Anwara Begum was a noble woman with strong family and social values. An indomitable interest in education and family ideals have made Nasim what he is today.

Nasim's educational career began from the village madrasa. In 1989, after passing the entrance examination with distinction, he enrolled in Rajshahi University for higher education. After completing BA (Hons) and MA from the Islamic Studies Department, he obtained an MSS degree in journalism. He also obtained a Kamil degree in Hadith and Fiqh from the Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board. His expertise in the field of law and education was also proven when he earned his LLB and B.Ed degrees from the National University.
His dedication to education was not only for himself, but also for the society. His goal was to spread the light of knowledge and bring education to the people.

After completing his education, Nasim dedicated himself to the work of building society through teaching. Currently, he is serving as the principal of Mominpur Mazar Sharif Dakhil Madrasa in Lalpur Upazila of Natore. Under his skillful leadership, the institution has been recognized as the best institution at the Upazila level many times.
But not limited to the field of education alone, he has dedicated himself to various social service activities. He is leading various social organizations including Ittehad Samaj Kalyan Sangstha and Rainbow Foundation. His contribution in the banking and business sectors is also notable. He is keeping the economic flow of the area active by operating the agent banking of Islami Bank.

He joined politics out of a strong desire to work for the welfare of the people, for patriotism, justice, and the welfare of the people. Although he is in the district committee of Amar Bangladesh Party (AB Party), he recently started leading at the national level after being elected as the co-editor of the central committee for banking and private sector development.
As an MP candidate from Natore-1 (Lalpur-Bagatipara) constituency in this year's national parliamentary election, he wants the opportunity to serve the people. His election promises include ensuring good education, reducing unemployment, protecting religious and social values, establishing a corruption-free administration, and above all, establishing a developed and peaceful society.

Nasim's worldview is also broad. He has traveled to several countries including Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Malaysia, Egypt, and India. These experiences have given him the idea of ​​running a modern, developed state, which he wants to use for the development of his own area and the country.

Nasim is not just a politician, he is a social worker, educationist, and reformer. He has always stood by the helpless and backward people. Many social development programs have been carried out in Lalpur and the surrounding areas under his leadership.

Nasim is a dreamer who has developed himself for the welfare of the society. His education, experience, leadership qualities and service mentality have established him as a worthy leader.
His promise in the upcoming elections is—"Leadership on the path of truth, justice and welfare." He is working to ensure equality, human dignity and social justice through politics.
With the love and support of the people, he wants to move forward on the path of a developed, well-educated and prosperous Bangladesh.
