Rezaul Karim Laban Talukder, president of the Daulatpur High School Management Ad Hoc Committee in Aona Union of Sarishabari Upazila, has been accused of embezzling the money from the students' half-yearly examination fees. According to the complaint, the president of the school management ad hoc committee and Aona Union Ward 6 BNP branch president Rezaul Karim Laban Talukder, who promised to provide immoral benefits to more than a hundred students in the half-yearly examination at Daulatpur High School, took 2,600 taka per person, deposited 1,000 taka per person with the school authorities, and embezzled the remaining 1,600 taka per person. There is a storm of discussion and criticism among the parents and students about this. There has been intense anger and frustration among the locals and parents. In this regard, the guardian of the victim student, Muncheh Driver, said, Laban Talukder did not let my son take the exam after he took 2600 taka from me and deposited 1,000 taka with the school for my son's exam. He also said - Laban Talukder took 2,600 taka from me and gave a receipt for depositing 1,000 taka to the school in my son's name. The school authorities did not let my son take the exam after not receiving the full amount and instead abused and insulted him. When we spoke to the guardians of several students on condition of anonymity, they said - Laban Talukder took 2,000 taka from each examinee and deposited 1,000 taka each at the school, so the school authorities did not let those examinees take the exam.

They also said - Laban Talukder has embezzled lakhs of taka by talking about exams. We strongly condemn and protest this incident. Daulatpur High School Headmaster Md. Rezaul Islam BSC said that there are more than 600 students from 6th to 9th grade in my school. Out of these, 413 students have participated in the ongoing half-yearly exams. In response to a question, he said that no examinee has been stopped from taking the exam due to lack of school salaries and exam fees. Those who wanted to take the exam are being tested. When asked about the embezzlement of exam candidates' money by the school management ad hoc committee president Rezaul Karim Laban Talukder, he said that he is not aware of the matter. When asked to talk to Daulatpur High School Management ad hoc committee president Rezaul Karim Laban Talukder on the phone, he did not respond. In this regard, Aona Union BNP President Md. When Suruj Mia's attention was drawn to it, he said - if any parent files a written complaint about the embezzlement of students' money, then if the complaint is proven in the light of the evidence, necessary organizational measures will be taken against the accused Laban Talukder.
