Shariful Haque: On the occasion of the 45th martyrdom anniversary of martyr President Ziaur Rahman, a prayer mahfil and a program of distributing Tabarak among the needy were organized by the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), Ward No. 48 under Demra Police Station.
The event held at the Sayedabad RK Chowdhury College premises was under the overall supervision of Ward No. 48 BNP senior leader Billal Hossain and moderated by Rabiul Haque. The program was attended by the guardian of Dhaka-5 constituency BNP Alhaj Nabiullah Nabi as the chief guest.
In a special prayer, the soul of martyr President Ziaur Rahman was prayed for. At the same time, prayers were held for the good health and longevity of the national leader Begum Khaleda Zia and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. Ward 48 BNP member secretary Jahangir Alam, Shahbuddin ((Buddin), freedom fighter Shahbuddin Ahmed were present as special guests. Principal Mahbubul Alam, Alamchan Munshi were also present. Rabbi Rahat, Yasin Molla, Ashraf, Bhulu, Morshed, Robin, Shamu and others were present in the discussion meeting.
