Sheikh Md. Enamul Haque, Sirajganj Bureau Chief: Proper management of Zakat is a means of social change. Haji Md. Abdus Sattar, the founding chairman of the Abdus Sattar Foundation, director of the Sirajganj Chamber of Commerce and Industry, prominent businessman and social worker, and peddler of humanity, donated a check of Tk 10 lakh to the government Zakat fund of the Islamic Foundation in Sirajganj.
On Tuesday (July 07, 2026) at 10 am, Haji Md. Abdus Sattar presented the check of Tk 10 lakh to the Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) of Sirajganj, Ganapati Roy, at the Sirajganj District Commissioner's office.
Sirajganj Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Md. Mamun Khan, Islamic Foundation Sirajganj Deputy Director Md. Faruk Ahmed, Office Secretary of Sirajganj Press Club, journalist Sheikh Md. Enamul Haque and others were present at the time. At the time, Abdus Sattar Foundation Founder Chairman and Sirajganj Chamber of Commerce and Industry Director Haji Md. Abdus Sattar said that the helpless and distressed people of Bangladesh will benefit from this aid. He also called on all capable people to come forward for such work.
