Benjamin Rafique: Prime Minister Tarique Rahman today (September 3) joined the exchange of greetings with prominent figures of Hindu religion and the distribution of honors at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital on the occasion of Shubu Janmashtami.
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman today exchanged greetings with prominent figures of traditional religions and the distribution of honors among priests and service workers on the occasion of Shubu Janmashtami.
He joined a colorful program organized at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital at 10 am today as the chief guest.
Top representatives of the country's Hindu community, religious gurus, prominent citizens and priests and service workers from different parts of the country participated in the program organized jointly by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Hindu Religious Welfare Trust.
It is worth noting that Prime Minister Tarique Rahman walked from his office at the Bangladesh Secretariat to the Osmani Memorial Auditorium to attend the Janmashtami ceremony.
