A case has been filed against a man in connection with rape of a 12-year-old madrasa student at Kulaura upazila of Moulvibazar.
The victim's father filed the case with Kulaura Police Station this afternoon against Malik Mia (24), a private tutor, for raping his son yesterday, reports our local correspondent quoting Officer-in-Charge of the police station, Binoy Bhushan Roy.
The victim, according to the case statement, went to a neighbour's house like every day to take lessons from Malik Mia. Six students usually take lessons, but only two showed up yesterday. Instead of providing tuition, Malik took the boy to a nearby brick field and raped him, says the case statement.
The boy returned home and collapsed, he was bleeding, the statement said.
The mother and sister learned about the incident from the boy later. The child is currently being treated at a local hospital, the case statement added.
"I demand justice," the boy's mother said. "This should never happen to any child."
OC Binoy Bhushan Roy said they are trying to arrest the accused.
